How Sector Knowledge Works Here

Sub-councils are the sector engine.

Rather than maintaining thin sector teams, NEXEC maintains eight technical sub-councils staffed by economists, lawyers, engineers, quantity surveyors, clinicians and working practitioners. When a mandate requires deep sector knowledge, the relevant division joins the engagement team — giving clients qualified specialists rather than generalists who once read about the sector.

01

Mandate scoped

The engagement team identifies which sector expertise the mandate requires.

02

Division engaged

Specialists from the relevant sub-council join the engagement team under confidentiality.

03

Findings tested

Draft findings are stress-tested against practitioner experience before they reach the client.

04

Knowledge retained

Anonymised sector learning feeds back into the division’s technical positions and the research programme.
