Book a Consultation

Forty-five structured minutes.

A no-obligation conversation with a director about a specific institutional challenge. You leave with a view on whether the problem is one advisory work can solve, and what it would take.

Before

You send a one-pager

A short written description of the institution, the problem and what has already been tried. We read it in advance.

During

We interrogate it

Forty-five minutes of structured questioning, not a pitch. The objective is a shared diagnosis of what is actually constraining delivery.

After

You get a written view

A one-page note setting out our reading of the problem and the options — including the option of not engaging us.

Common Questions

Before you write

Yes. A meaningful share of our public sector work sits with district and local municipalities. Where budgets are constrained we structure engagements around a tightly defined problem rather than a broad mandate, and we are explicit about what cannot be achieved within the available resources.
Most mandates are fixed-fee against a defined scope and deliverable set. Longer implementation support is typically retained monthly. Public sector work is priced in line with applicable procurement frameworks and transversal arrangements where these apply.
Yes. Send the bid documents to advisory@nexec.co.za with the closing date. We will confirm within two working days whether we are bidding, and we decline clearly rather than submitting weak responses.
Selectively, in African markets where the state–capital–youth intersection presents comparable structural conditions and where we can partner with credible local institutions.
Standing confidentiality provisions apply to all mandates. Client identities are not disclosed without written consent, which is why several references on this site are unattributed. Personal information is processed in accordance with POPIA.
